It sometimes feels like we have been gone more than a month. We have done and seen so much! Have had so much fun! It is hard to believe we have done all this in just a month. I just asked Andy her opinion of this past month. She said, "It's the happiest I have been in years! I just love this RV'ing stuff...maybe I don't want to go back". It has been fantastic being here in Southern California. We have be able to see family and friends which we both love! We love spending time together! Andy's new bike..even has a basket !
We both had our concerns about spending so much time together...in a small space..etc. We both had our own home...our own space... and the longest we had spent together until this trip was 12 days. We both agree, we no longer have that concern.
We also worried about being bored...guess what! Not bored at all...always something to do and see! Still have chores and errands. The big difference is "we" can decide when and how do them...on our schedule! Since I haven't worked since August my sleep pattern has changed to ...lets say "normal"
Our next month schedules looks something like this:
- Andy is going this Wednesday or Thursday to visit Debra, her BFF
- This weekend we are going to Las Vegas with Jeff and Christine.
- The Following weekend Larry and Ernie are coming back to visit for the weekend.
- February 8, 2012 we are going to Florida for 12 days to see family and go on a cruise.
So far so good...we are loving this lifestyle and enjoying ourselves. Seeing family and friends have been fantastic. We are extremely enjoying the weather, the beautiful sunsets.. and spending time together ! We enjoy the freedom to schedule what we want to do and when to do it.
Larry and Ernie came down to visit yesterday. Had such a good time! Andy so enjoys talking to the boys about wine. She doesn't discuss wine with me because I really don't appreciate that foul smelling stuff. Yucky...lol They are so funny! The way they sit around and talk about that nasty stuff! They were sitting in the bedroom looking under the bed, Andy's wine cellar, and just chit chatting away about this wine or that wine. Andy again made a wonderful dinner that we all enjoyed.
