First full day in Arizona !

We are staying in a long term camping area and the cost is $40 for two weeks or $180 for 6 months.  Since we will be here for just 4 days we decided on the two week $40 option !  Pretty cheap but we don't have hook ups !  There is however water 50 feet away and a dump station 300ft away.  Since we have a generator we are looking good . This is our view today!  It was about 75 degrees and sunny !

This is what Andy does best !  Read in the sun !  She even wore sun tan lotion...she is funny!  I never do !

All the people we have met, have been here since October 2011. What a friendly bunch they are too.  Most will be leaving in 2 or 4 weeks. They are mostly from Canada.  They keep telling us to go to Mexico, which is 20 minutes away, if we need dental work, booze or medications because it is so cheap.  One couple we met, their daughter flew into Yuma so she could go get dental work done for 20 cents on the dollar.  Since we don't need med's or dental work we might go for the booze...lol

We drove around the area to check things out.  We even found Fort Yuma Proving Grounds today and check out their facilities.  Pretty good commissary and shopette.  I even got to play on some military vehicles that I used to ride around on.  Most of those vehicle have been retired from the army for a few years just like me !

They even have a place, a few miles away, where you can rent fishing and pontoon boats.  Saw a guy catch a fish too.  Think it was a small mouth bass but I wasn't that close to really tell.

Tomorrow we plan on visiting Yuma and the sights there.  I have always wanted to see the Yuma Territorial Prison since I watch western movies..lol
