Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

We had a fun time in Myrtle Beach.  It was the quiet time of the year, it almost felt like a ghost town.  A bit more energy would have been good.  The beaches are amazing.  I bet in the summer this place is packed.

Our Morning Sunrise !

While we were there we took a ride on that huge Ferris Wheel.  Andy even went up!  She did good! Very proud of her !
Myrtle Beach

This is Andy "relaxing" !

breathe...breathe..don't forget to breathe

What a view of Myrtle Beach
Look down honey...not happening !  lol

We took an afternoon and just hung around on the beach.  It was 80 degrees and the water was good.  We didn't go in very far because there was dead Jelly Fish that had washed up on the beach and in the shallows.   Andy got stung in Hawaii by a Jelly Fish so she wouldn't go anywhere near them.  Can't say I blame her!

So instead of swimming she went sleeping !
Playing in the water...Dam dude... go on a diet and exercise
See Sis..told you !  Love ya !!

Just for the hell of it !

Really !!  How do they "REALLY KNOW" !   lol
I think I need a haircut.

While we were there we had some maintenance done on the RV.   Epinephrine is now ready for the Florida winter trip.  We plan on seeing St Augustine, Coca Beach, Tampa Bay area (which includes Clearwater and St Peterburg), and then unto Key West.  We should be in Key West by the first week of December.

We are currently at Parris Island, South Carolina.  We decided to come here so we could visit and take day trips to Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina.  We will be here for about 5-7 days.

Some of you might be wondering why we stay at military bases?  Some of the best Real Estate in America are in Military Bases plus the cost to stay there is very inexpensive.

In a normal RV Resort/Park you can pay on the average of $40-$50 a night. If you would like to stay near the beach or a choice location it can get $80-90 a night.  At a normal military base it ranges from $15 to $25 a night.  We stayed in Cape Code for $18 a night.

So lets take Key West, Florida; to stay at a normal RV Resort/Park it will cost $110-$130 a night or $2,200-$2,500 a month. To stay at the military base right in Key West it will cost $23 a day or $690 a month.  So, as you can see... that is a big savings.

To stay at a military bases you either have to be on Active Duty,  Retired, 100% DAV, or DOD Civilian or guest of those stated.

Parris Island is a Marine Base.  This is where they train civilians to become Marines. I think I will go watch the movie " Full Metal Jacket" and then go watch them get their butts kicked.
